Rewild your Creativity Retreat

The retreat will begin on Monday, June 2nd at 3pm and goes until Thursday, June 6th at 12pm. The daily schedule includes a two-hour session of instructed collaborative working, a lot of time for individual creative work, full accommodation and sauna every evening. The guided sessions involve group activities and focus on different modalities: visual, sonic, writing and movement. The retreat is open for anyone, who wants to work on a certain theme (e.g. a piece of writing, painting, composing, or a personal question, an issue at work, etc.) get ideas of how to set the full gamut of our sensory apparatus into creative work. Get feedback for your work. The guided sessions involve group activities and focus on tapping into creativity through various modalities: visual, sonic, writing and movement. The format of working is research based and inspired by the course of creative methodologies offered at the University of Helsinki doctoral school during the years 2022-2024. Please contact the instructors if you are interested in obtaining a certificate for potential course credits. Depending on the language preferences of the participants, the sessions will be held in English or bilingually in English and Finnish. You are free to choose your own individual working language. Accommodation booked through Arts Education Foundation are shared room assignments including bed linens. If you have a request to share a room with a friend please notify us.
